about the project
Okoa Refuge is an NGO based in Uganda, Africa. They partner with the local church and community leaders to stabilize family units and transform entire communities.
They have projects for childcare, healthcare, community development, orphan prevention, education, church planting and anti-human trafficking - and more.
It is our honor to partner with them financially on an annual basis to fully sponsor a child who lives residentially at their Rescue Center, and to give to special projects like their anti-human trafficking efforts and Gender-Based Violence Shelters.
